The course is designed for educators, outdoor recreation planners, naturalist/interpreters, community outreach specialists, resource managers, and others involved with educating people about birds, their biology and value in nature, and their conservation. The course trains participants on how to use birds as the focus of environmental, science and conservation education. The course involves classroom work and field activities.
