NOTICE OF ADOPTED CHANGES IN THE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATIONRegulations dealing with water quality standards were adopted by the Department of Environmental Conservation on March 20, 2024, with an effective date of April 26, 2024. The regulations have been made permanent and have been filed by the Lt. Governor. The regulations will appear in Register 250, July 2024, of the Alaska Administrative Code.

The Marijuana Control Board has amended its regulations regarding transfer of license to another location. The Lieutenant Governor signed and filed the regulation on December 23, 2022, with an effective date of January 22, 2023. The regulations will appear in Register 245, April 2023, of the Alaska Administrative Code. Additionally, updated regulations will be available on our website no later than January 22, 2023.

The Marijuana Control Board has amended its regulations regarding waste management. 3 AAC 306.740(c)(1) is repealed. This repeal removes the three-day waiting period before making the waste unusable and disposing of it. The Lieutenant Governor signed and filed the regulation on September 16,2022, with an effective date of October 16, 2022. The regulations will appear in Register 244, January 2023, of the Alaska Administrative Code.
