The California Prison Industry Authority (CALPIA) is soliciting for Mobile Tattoo Removal Services for eligible female offenders housed at three (3) CDCR Institutions throughout the State of California.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, including travel and per diem, materials and supplies, transportation, equipment, and every other item of expense necessary to perform the mobile tattoo removal services to CDCR.
*Addendum #1 Bidder Q&A posted 04/13/23* The Contractor shall provide the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), Division of Adult Institutions (DAI), with mobile tattoo removal services for eligible participants housed at the specified adult institutions (Refer to Exhibit A-1 for address locations).
A pilot program will focus on the removal of existing tattoo(s) for inmates that choose to volunteer for the program. The requirement required a mobile unit to travel to Bureau locations to perform tattoo removal services compliant with State regulations. Market Research showed that not many mobile units are avialble to provide such services compliant with all Federal Regulations.
Saratoga County, through its Purchasing Department, will receive bids from qualified radio contractors for services related to the removal, installation, and programming of mobile and portable radios in County owned or authorized vehicles.
