The Government’s intent to issue a sole source award contract to Red Hat Licenses to renew licenses that is listed on HQ0516018650. The Red Hat Licenses and License Renewals are the operating system for DMA’s LINUX based servers.  Because of this they are designed to run specific programs that DMA uses to run virtual machines and a DISA required program to keep the DMA network able to operate on the NIPRNET.

The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) is requesting bids for the annual renewal of Red Hat software and services for a one (1) year term with the option to renew annually for an additional two (2) years thereafter (three (3) years total potential). All renewals will be paid for on an annual basis. Award will be all-or-none. Failure to bid a complete Bid Schedule will be cause for rejection of bid response.
