Thacker CDC Library (CDC Library) is seeking renewal of Elsevier electronic access to Elsevier journals, books and Scopus database accessible thru the Elsevier platform, ScienceDirect. This also includes access to the Compendex database accessible through Elsevier's Engineering Village interface.

This contract is being procured on a sole source basis due to the fact that the Elsevier/MC Strategies system is the only one on the market which includes: an online procedure/skills manual, continuing education, patient education, access to journals, and a competency management system. No other known company has the competency management and continuing education components of this system link with the Mosby online procedure manual.
