The Lease includes an unevaluated renewal option for a (4) four year firm term.  The Government has a continuing need for this space and anticipates exercising the renewal option unless the Government can expect to recover relocation and duplication of costs. The Government needs to lease approximately 108,296 contiguous rentable square feet of office and related space. 

The Government holds a renewal option for 38,582 RSF of the lease that it plans to exercise and seeks to add a renewal option for the remaining 15,380 RSF. Offered space must be able to supply at least 34,436 RSF and must meet Federal Government, State, and local jurisdiction requirements including, but not limited to, fire and life safety, accessibility, seismic, energy and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease.

The Government seeks to add a renewal option to this existing lease for a term not to exceed 60 months, but is considering alternative space if economically advantageous.

The US Forest Service intends to add a 5-year unevaluated renewal option to the current lease with the incumbent Lessor without full and open competition for continued occupancy at this leased location.
