NOAA's WFO New Orleans office, in Slidell, LA, has Three Liebert units that cool the Equipment room, Electric room and the Communication's room which is critical for the WFO's operations. These units require an overhaul to extend their useful life. The existing equipment is sized correctly to handle the current cooling demands from these Spaces. The Spaces heating and cooling (J-Manuel) load were analyzed internally by NWS and it was calculated that the Equipment and Communications rooms demand was 18 BTU tons. J-manual was also done on the Office area completed utilizing as build drawings - confirming total of 5 BTU tons can handle the full office area heating and cooling load.
