The backbone network has hub cabinets placed at strategic locations that are interconnected with the TMC through Layer 3 gigabit Ethernet switches using single mode fiber optic cables. The distribution network branches from the hub cabinets and connects with field devices using single mode fiber, multi-mode fiber, or wireless broadband radios. Only the legacy downtown signal system, approximately 140 signals, still uses multi-mode fiber.
_x000D_ _x000D_ This STTR project seeks to develop a compact, snapshot, dual-mode, multi-wavelength interferometric system for in situ metrology in high precision manufacturing. The lack of real-time quality control during fabrication is a critical hurdle, leading to delays and manufacturing errors. This system integrates unique techniques to overcome this challenge and enhance throughput and accuracy.
Principles of operation: - 2D (B-Mode) imaging with SonoMB Multi Beam Technology improves contrast resolution; tissue differentiation of small structures and enhances border delineation - Color Velocity and Power Doppler imaging provides highly sensitive, simultaneous blood flow analysis on all transducers during a clinical procedure. - M-Mode with timing sensitivity in order to evaluate fast moving objects - Auto Gain with SonoADAPT Tissue Optimization
