The purpose of the project is to replace existing asbestos pipe located along Martin Street with modern pipe material, in accordance with Attachment A, Project Manual and Attachment B, Drawings. Federal Regulations require the City to remove all asbestos pipe in the City of Apopka from service.
Tarrant County is seeking contractors to bid to provide all supervision, labor, equipment and material for the removal, transport, and disposal of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) uncovered during execution of the water system isolation valves replacement project. Because this discovery has led to a work stoppage, it’s important that successful vendor is able to mobilize quickly following approval of contract with Commissioner’s Court.
