The NWS, Radar Operations Center (ROC) WSR-88D NEXRAD Radar Program located in Norman, OK is conducting market research seeking information regarding a replacement for a Transition Power Supply, herein called the “TPS”, Agency Stock Number Reference Identification R400-62.
Work will also include, excavation, concrete cutting, replacement and temporary power. Contract Time: 120 calendar days. Liquidated Damages: $700.00 per day. Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project.
Elements of work include providing a temporary power feed and demo / replacement of the damaged 9W duct bank discovered at Dry Dock 2 during construction of RM17-0252.
Structural work involving removal, fabrication, and installation of large reinforced concrete structures.Mechanical work involving installation of industrial scale hydraulic steel gate operating systems at lock and dam sites or movable bridge systems.Electrical work involving replacement of industrial power distribution equipment, providing temporary power, and technical capabilities to modify/program industrial PLC/HMI systems.2.
Construct exterior improvements including re-grading and replacing existing sidewalks and ramps, repairs to exterior façade elements, roof replacement and electrical upgrades. Work includes staging, construction access, temporary power, sanitary and water connections to be maintained for the project duration. Protection of existing facilities to remain.
