The USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20) requires an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to repair various components of the ship’s rescue boat davit. The period of performance is anticipated to begin 08 February 2023 with final deliverable by 02 June 2023. See attached solicitation and J&A for other than full and open competition.

Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center), Cambridge, MA, has a requirement for Supply and Installation of Rescue Boat Davit for the Ranger III located in Houghton, Michigan.

Military Sealift Command (MSC) is seeking eligible businesses to provide support to repair various components of the ship’s rescue boat launching appliances on board the USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20).  Specifically the Starboard Davit needs several major assemblies replaced. See attached document for a copy of the statement of work.
