The services provided by the District include: fire protection, building safety regulation and inspection, hazardous materials, technical rescue, arson investigation, and emergency medical response and transport. Currently the District employs approximately 740 employees. Roughly 1,070 members are a part of the District’s deferred compensation plan, with ≈700 members actively contributing.
