This Contract Manual and associated drawings are for an early site enabling work for Agriculture Research Facility 1 project at the University of Kentucky. The building packages for the new construction of the Agriculture Research Facility 1 and Teaching Greenhouse building will be issued in future construction packages.
The new animal research facility and site design will meet, at a minimum but not limited to: Mission Critical facility as defined in the VA s Physical Security and Resiliency Manual (Oct 2020). Critical Facility under VA Handbook 18-8, Seismic Design Requirements (Nov 2019). Research Facility as defined in the VA s Research and Development Design Guide (Jun 2022).
