Background The Milli-Q water system is an essential Research Core instrument supporting the labs of both Research Services and the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Services (PALMS) in the building. It is the only source of the deionized water that is required on a continuous basis for the research conducted in those labs. Since its installation in 2012, the manufacturer, Millipore has provided exceptional maintenance service.
