In order to proactively plan for future requirements, WHS/AD is conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested large and small business concerns capable of providing Residential and Physical Security Services Development, Installation, and Maintenance Support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Protective Services Battalion (CID).  Please reference all attachments for full details. 

Sources Sought / Request for Information The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC), Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP/Snyder House) located at 1425 Snyder Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19145, has a requirement for Security Guard Services. The draft Statement of Work is attached. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to seek capable and responsible sources interested in providing this service.

Include no more than six (6) Government and/or private projects that demonstrate relevant experience with project that are similar in size, scope and complexity, and experience with specialized building types requiring physical security measures. Offeror shall include at least two (2) examples of CLC/Nursing home design experience.

Embassy in Mexico City requires provision of Security Upgrades at new and existing USG-owned, leased or managed residential properties in compliance with Post’s Regional Security Office. This shall include providing and installing security grilles and other necessary physical security features to the interior and exterior of the residential properties.

In order to provide a variety of training environments for the students to experience, the city hall simulation building should contain multiple office settings; the residential simulation building should include multiple bedroom dwelling spaces; and the laboratory simulation building should include multiple laboratory settings. Low Impact Development features will be included in the design and construction of this project as appropriate.

Proposed office space cannot be located in a high crime area or an area that will necessitate more extensive and stringent building security than a generally progressive and alert neighborhood with a low crime rate.vii. Security requirements shall be determined by the Physical Security Programs Branch on a case-by-case basis.viii.
