The Seasonal Resource Assistant will also be responsible for answering the phones. This includes answering any questions about certification, hunting laws, class schedules, and also providing assistance to the public with nuisance and distressed wildlife or determining who would best assist the caller. The Seasonal Resource Assistant will also be required to issue hunting and fishing licenses. The position is forty (40) hours per week.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES Duties of the Resource Assistant will include, but not limited to the following: customer service – on phone and in-person, handling routine requests for information and/or program materials. Responsible for collecting weekly staff schedules. Check mail, email and voicemail on a daily basis, prepare mail (including mass mailings), disperse mail, filing.
