The Hill District Vacant Property Strategy (2013) built upon the Master Plan, and recommended rehabilitation rather than demolition for a majority of vacant properties in the Hill as a key area of focus. DCP has also been prioritizing survey work in the Hill District as part of updating Pittsburgh’s Historic Resources Inventory.
