The District as represented by the Secondary Teaching and Learning team intends to use the results of this solicitation to award a contract for purchasing instructional resources for the teaching of AP US Government and Politics in our high schools.
MMSD seeks to provide core instructional resources for the teaching of AP Chemistry that are: (1) founded on research and best practices, (2) meet the requirements as established by the College Board for the AP Chemistry course; and (3) provide access in both print and digital (compatible with Google Chromebooks), that are scientifically accurate, inclusive, free from bias, fully accessible to all learners, and culturally relevant to BIPOC students
The District as represented by the Secondary Teaching and Learning team intends to use the results of this solicitation to award a contract for purchasing instructional resources for the teaching of AP Environmental Science in our high schools. Approximately 26,000 students, about 50% of which are minority, 27% are English Language Learners, and of those, 86% are native Spanish speakers.

Annual purchases of art and early education learning materials and teaching resources for the four (4) School Boards from September 2022 to August 2023 was in the region of $1,000,000 - with participation from approximately three hundred and twenty (320) sites with approximately 150,000 students.
