A national infrastructure for public health emergency preparedness was established and supported by CDC since the tragic September 11, 2001 events to enhance rapid response capabilities.
The US Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) has a requirement for dedicated tactical response services of personnel trained in Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT). Training on-site is required to maintain a high level of tactical readiness by a supporting law enforcement tactical team, and to cultivate personal contacts necessary for preparedness to respond jointly with Reclamation personnel against threats to a National Critical Infrastructure.
Emergency Preparedness - Assess and identify infrastructure related initiatives necessary for an Emergency Preparedness Sustainment Plan based on The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and VA regulations. Phasing/Dominos - Identify predecessor/successor relationships for all initiatives in the master plan. Project efficiencies - Review each initiative for potential combining.
