Project Description The Houston Airport System (HAS) is seeking a contractor to renovate the existing restrooms in the Terminal D Sterile Corridor at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). This includes the janitor closet on the Mezzanine Level of Terminal D and connecting the restrooms into the Sterile Corridor at Gate D10.

Engineering Innovation Hub and West Wing Renovation The scope of work includes the creation of a new 1600 SF Electronics Lab, renovations to the West Wing corridors, restrooms, and Classroom G84. Multiple vacant rooms and utilities will be demolished.

General DM renovations call for the removal of hazardous materials found under the corridor floor and above the ceilings in insulation and mastic around ductwork and Variable Air Valve (VAV) boxes. The DM renovations concentrate on bringing the corridors into code compliance and replacing the VAV boxes and controls on each floor. DM renovations in F Building address the office and restroom areas only and exclude the Café.

The purpose and intent of this invitation to bid is to renovate six group restrooms. This work includes a new floor layout and replacing walls to make the restrooms ADA accessible. Plumbing and Electrical work will also be part of the renovations. The prime Contractor shall have a Florida General Contractor’s license.

The adjoining office space will be occupied during the renovation.
