Sealed proposals for the construction of a 6,306 square foot first floor with 907 square foot storage/mezzanine retail building for the Buxton, NC ABC Liquor Store will be received until 2:00pm on October 24, 2023, at the office of Cahoon and Kasten Architects, 118 W. Woodhill Dr., Nags Head, NC, at which time and place the bids will not be opened and read publicly.

Proposals may include the purchase and redevelopment of the Inline Retail Building and/or the T heater Building (collectively, the “Fashion Square Buildings”). The City will consider incentives in connection with any proposal approved by the City, provided that such incentives comply with the City’s Economic Development Policy.

The facility is 130,000 sqft retail building with steel framing and decking. The project consists of Package 1 for the Low Slope Membrane roofing system as base bid. This includes demo of the existing membrane system. Replace with new TPO membrane system over 1⁄2” coverboard, over polyiso insulation, over existing decking. Provide 20 year NDL warranty. Deductive Alternate 1A: Existing membrane roofing system to remain.
