The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Installation Contracting Division (PZIOA), Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Aluma Tower Company, Inc., 1639 Old Dixie Hwy, Vero Beach, FL 32960-3656, Cage Code:7W000, for Retrofit and Upgrade to Mobile Antenna Towers. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order.
Description of the Project and Services The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision, and equipment necessary to build three mobile, skid-based battery chargers to be delivered to three locations. Further work includes the retrofit of two existing mobile, skid-based battery chargers as well as commissioning and operator training.
The goal is to turn the box truck into a bookmobile, with the box acting as a mobile library.
