The purpose of this agreement is to conduct a retrospective study to evaluate whether greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions leakage occurred in the electricity sector covered by the California Cap-and-Trade Program (Program), outside of the Western Energy Imbalance Market (EIM), from inception through 2021 and if so, estimate the magnitude and extent of any emission leakage.

In this project investigators will conduct a retrospective cohort study using clinical and administrative data.

This requirement is for services to update the current version of the ITPD-E to ITPD-S. The period of performance is August 31st , 2022 to August 30, 2023. The databases for these contracts were constructed by Yoto Yotov and his team and required custom methodology and techniques.

Prospective studies do not have these problems. Few studies have evaluated trace elements and risk of pancreatic cancer in non-occupational cohorts. Limitations of these studies were the small number of pancreatic cancer cases and/or the cases were from retrospective studies that may have issues with reverse causation.
