Building 249 is a three story, Enlisted Unoccupied Personnel Housing (EUPH)barracks facility. The current dwelling unit space configuration is being updated to meet newArmy standards which is mandatory for renovation projects. Two bedrooms sharing one bathroom(2+1) is the current standard renovation design requirement. Fort Irwin Garrison Command approveda space model which was provided to USACE by Ft. Irwin’s DPW. Additionally, this projectlooks to repair failing building system and deteriorated infrastructure in the building.
