Notice of Public Comment Richardson Highway MP 329-340 Pavement Preservation Project Number: NFHWY00583The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is requesting comments on a proposed project to seal pavement cracks and to resurface a segment of the Richardson Highway, between milepost (MP) 329 through MP 340 (Figure 1 attached).
Resurface the Richardson Highway between MP 329-340. Work will include pavement preservation, roadside hardware, drainage improvements, and utilities.
The project consists of constructing passing lanes at multiple locations between Milepost 266 and 341 on the Richardson Highway. Work includes roadside hardware, drainage improvements, intersection improvements and utilities. Engineer's Estimate is between $30,000,000 and $40,000,000. The project completion date is September 1, 2025.
Richardson Highway MP 351 Interchange Northern Region, North Pole Reconstruct the Old Richardson Highway and Richardson Highway intersection at MP 351 of the Richardson Highway. Work will include intersection improvements, bridge work, roadside hardware, drainage improvements, and utilities.
