Bid Title:Richardson Water Treatment Plant Docking Station Installation Category:Construction ServicesStatus:Open Description: Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is accepting bids for the Richardson Water Treatment Plant Docking Station Installation project. Scope of work includes providing, installing, and commissioning into service a new docking station to connect to a portable generator.
The Richardson Water Treatment Plant (RWTP) is in Northern New Hanover County and treats groundwater obtained from the Castle Hayne and PeeDee Aquifers to produce about 7 million gallons of drinking water per day (mgd). The plant treats raw water using reverse osmosis (RO) skids. RO concentrate is discharged to the Intracoastal Waterway through a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit.
Projects listed shall demonstrate experience in 7 the construction of wastewater treatment plants, including the construction of concrete water retaining structures, installation of mechanical equipment similar to that included in this project, SCADA systems, and in-stream work.
