The City of Scranton Office of Business Administration is seeking separate sealed proposals for an individual or firm to provide Engineering and Design of the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail Bridge will be received online by the City of Scranton Controller via the City’s e-Procurement Portal until 10:00 am, Thursday, May 2, 2024, at which time such bids will be opened in City Council Chambers on the 2nd Floor of City Hall.
The City of Batavia, IL will accept sealed bids for the 2023 Donovan Bridge – Cleaning and Painting Steel Railing. Work consists of cleaning and painting the railings at the Donovan (Wilson St) Bridge over the Fox River in Batavia.
The project also includes railing upgrades and deck repairs to the Indian River Bridge #651. The purpose of this project is to improve safety and mobility for all users, and to reduce maintenance requirements along the project corridor. It is needed because the road experiences excessive frost heaving and settlement due to subgrade failure and drainage problems.
