All streams found in the project area that were not mapped will follow the same treatments described below. Perennial streams are defined as generally having year-round flow except in periods of extreme drought.

Riparian Conservation Areas No work is to be conducted within riparian conservation areas (RCA) unless otherwise specified; Known RCAs are clearly identified on the unit maps. If unmapped stream channels are encountered, contractor will avoid cutting within 60ft of the channel until inspector or COR is consulted. RCA boundary distances are determined by whether the stream is perennial (120-foot buffer) or intermittent (60-foot buffer).
