Riparian Conservation Areas No work is to be conducted within riparian conservation areas (RCA) unless otherwise specified; Known RCAs are clearly identified on the unit maps. If unmapped stream channels are encountered, contractor will avoid cutting within 60ft of the channel until inspector or COR is consulted. RCA boundary distances are determined by whether the stream is perennial (120-foot buffer) or intermittent (60-foot buffer).
