April 12, 2024 - PEARSE ROAD DRAINAGE AND ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30 Section 39M, the Town of Swansea seeks competitive bids from qualified bidders to provide road drainage and roadway upgrades for Pearse Road.
Summary: The work includes construction of measures for drainage improvements, including upgrades to the existing storm drain system, installation of new storm drainpipe, regarding swales, and all associated work. The project is in the Thoroughgood subdivision off of Independence Blvd. The project limits are approximately 0.41 acres.

The general location of the proposed work is: The intersection of Wells Rd and North County Rd to the intersection of Miraflores Dr and North County Road. Work includes the adjustment or replacement of existing manholes, storm inlets, and valve boxes prior to paving and includes the overbuilding of North County Rd between and including the above specified intersections.
Traffic accommodation via SLAT configuration.
