Red River Army Depot (RRAD), Rubber Products has a requirement to purchase ALUMINUM ROAD WHEEL BLANKS in support of its manufacturing and supply for the M1 Roadwheel. Contractor shall manufacture and supply ALUMINUM ROAD WHEEL BLANKS, in accordance with P/N: 12324556 REV C for the estimated quantities in the table and delivery schedule attached within the Combined Synopsis / Solicitation.
Depending on the Road Wheel type it is transported to the proper Road Wheel Rubber Molding machine to continue the refurbishment process for completion as a new remanufactured road wheel.Acquisition of a new Road Wheel Automated Adhesive System is required to provide Rubber Products Division with the latest state of the art capability by providing safe and efficient processes needed for road wheel remanufacturing to support RRAD workload requirement
Rubber Products Division, Bldg. 493, at RRAD performs the remanufacture of road wheels for tracked combat vehicles. The road wheel preparation process line in Bldg. 493 currently consist of multiple workstations and process equipment that prepare tracked vehicle road wheels for new rubber installation.
