No other program can perform the functions that RTI does and no other product has been certified.Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price.  

The proposed action is for RTI software, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one compliant product pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: Real-Time Innovations is the only source of compatible software, with no compatible product on the market.

Synopsis:NASA/NSSC has a requirement for MAK RTI Software License Renewal.NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to MAK Technologies, Inc. 150 CAMBRIDGEPARK DR STE 3 CAMBRIDGE MASSACHUSETTS 02140-2328ZIP Code: under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that MAK Technologies, Inc. is the sole provider of MAK RTI Software License Renewal.NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.

The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation.This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside.The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a Brand Name basis for RTI software renewal, manufactured by Real-Time Innovations, Inc. RTI is the specific developer that is already in use.
