The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue, on a sole-source basis, a modification to contract N00024-22-C-2223 to Silver Ships INC, 9243 Bellingrath Rd, Theodore, AL 36582-2710, for the procurement of four (4) Assault Amphibian Safety Boats (AASBs).The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1.

A third safety boat team of (2) safety boats would be providing support to a third training unit conducting basic training in the installations protected waters (Boat Basin, Bay, Inlet) in the afternoon to early evening. This scenario requires (6) safety boats in a single day at one of the locations specified in paragraph 2.3.
