Added:Feb 22, 2019 5:46 pmThe contractor shall conduct aten-day comprehensive safety fall protection and rescue training course at the U.S. Global Media (USAGM) Transmitting Station in Philippines, Tinang Site. It is estimated that about eight (8) climbers and riggers plan to participate in the training course. Currently, the primary work for the station riggers is to maintain and repair shortwave curtain antennas.

It is MCPS's intent to secure a list of On-Call Contractors who will provide proposals based on scope provided to fully cover all required design service, materials and labor for the removal and/or installation of safety rails including unit prices for work of all trades needed to accomplish the scope of work.

The contract is to supply the fall protection equipment system components to include davit hoist systems, personal self-retracting lifelines, retrieval safety harnesses, Y-lanyards for confined space shoulder retrieval, mount davit bases and confined space center mount davit bases required to support district operations and maintenance in the northern sections of the Mississippi River Waterways of the St. Paul District.
