Through this Research Announcement (RA), the Office of Pipeline Safety in the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), a U.S. Department of Transportation agency, solicits applications for research projects awarded and funded as Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs).
The research efforts conducted under this contract will be performed through issuance of a task order that will provide a range of research skills that will be used to plan, conduct vehicle safety research tests such as dynamic crash tests, static and dynamic rollover tests, sled tests and static tests for late model production and/or modified vehicles. Another research effort is in the area of pedestrian testing.
