"The United States Government requires commercial mobile satellite communications capability for temporary use at multiple locations during an upcoming summer exercise. Required services must include lease of two small "footprint" hardware (satellite terminals), dedicated commercial satellite service at a bandwidth rate of 8 Mbps downlink and 2 Mbps uplink. Both devices will be used during a period of one week simultaneously in Germany.
The contractor shall have the ability to leverage on-going, planned or future satellite communications system developments that could contribute to reducing total lifecycle cost and risk to the program.
