This performance based requirement is for the sustainment of theCommon Data Link / Satellite Communications (CDL/SATCOM) Program.The contract will procure Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) forsustainment of the Army CDL/SATCOM to include maintenance andupgrades of existing systems, the procurement of new technology,equipment, and spares for continued sustainment, and support of theArmy Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Mission.
These tasks/projects are described herein.This requirement is a continuation of a requirement that was originally released as Request for Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-18-R-0085, dated 24 AUG 2018, titled SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS (SATCOM) SUPPORT. This RFP resulted in contract W52P1J-19-C-0034, which is in effect until July 2024.Respondents shall provide the information required for all tasks/projects by 12 May 2023 at 1500 hours Central Time.
The nature of this action is to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract for Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) managed services providing one full-duplex 85 Megabit per second (Mbps) link for the Defense Information System Network (DISN) and one 20 Mbps for education and morale in support of Thule AB, Greenland.--See attached Redacted_Justificaiton and Approval (J&A) - JA21-036_Exception to Fair Opportunity.
