This project will construct a consolidated MilStar Satellite Communications Station for Offutt Air Force Base, NE.  Primary facilities will include a communications facility, special foundations, and redundant power generators.  Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) installation, and Energy Monitoring and Control Systems (EMCS) connections will be provided. 

The work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the construction of an Electronic Equipment Building (EEB), Antenna Foundations for the AN/GSC-52B Medium Satellite Earth Terminals, and supporting infrastructure (site preparation, utility work and supporting facilities) that will support the DoD Teleport Satellite Communications System located at the Australian Defence Satellite Communications Station (ADSCS) located near the town of Geraldton

The contract will be for the procurement of one commercial Ku-band ground station satellite communications system, one Radio Frequency (RF) equipment upgrade, and incidental support services in support of the NAWCAD Webster Outlying Field Special Communications Mission Solutions (SCMS) Division. Globecomm is the only manufacturer capable of providing a solution that meets the requirements. 

The required Ku-band ground station satellite communications system is designed for interoperability in remote geographical locations and with the ability to re-route the Internet Protocol (IP) traffic depending on application and end-user purpose.
