The Satellite Transit System (STS) Fiber project will install new cable tray, fiber optic cable and replace lighting within the STS train tunnels. The project will retrofit parts of the existing STS maintenance spaces to include building a room to accommodate additional server/computer equipment. Ancillary fire sprinkler, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), and electrical work is expected.

Scope of work includes plumbing, HVAC, electrical and communication work installed to update the space for functionality which will include a duct upgrades on the Satellite Transit System (STS) level below. Upgrade include a compactable storage system which will require additional steel structural support and terrazzo sawcutting of the existing structure in order to install the storage system’s support rails.
