The City of Newburyport, in cooperation with the newly formed Public Art Committee (PAC), seeks to commission a signature artwork for prominent display in the newly expanded Market Landing Park Project located in downtown Newburyport.
The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for the complete renovation including all items as indicated throughout the attached event specifications. Work will begin immediately following an official Award of Contract and Purchase Order from Eastern Kentucky University. Effective bioretention maintenance involves a specialized and different set of tasks from those typically performed by the county’s internal maintenance crews. To address this need and promote more efficient overall maintenance efforts, the county seeks to leverage assistance from contracted services to address future routine maintenance needs specifically for bioretention facilities.
Sculpture Tender The project consists of excavation and preparation of subsurface areas including perimeter drainage, construction of a cast-in place concrete sculpture base, relocation and installation of the existing NLC sculpture to the entry location, as well as the supply and installation of boulders, soil, planting and lighting to the entry island, as indicated in specifications and drawings attached.
