The Architect of the Capitol has a requirement to conserve and maintain sculptures, to include fine art and architectural fine art sculptures, of the Senate Office Buildings. This work may include emergency conservation projects for fine art and architectural elements that are deemed necessary by the Government.
Scope of conservation includes preventative conservation, planning management, the development of collection-wide conservation treatment plans for parks, conservation treatment and research, and conservation training.
