Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) is hosting a virtual outreach event for Small Disadvantaged Businesses scheduled for Monday, February 28, 2022 from 2 pm - 4 pm.

Purpose and Objectives: OMB letter M-22-03 “Advancing Equity in Federal Procurement” increased emphasis on the SDB and the 8(a) programs in Federal contracting. In response to this memo, DLA Aviation seeks to expand its supplier base for SDBs/8(a)s.

This event will provide training to local small disadvantaged businesses new to government contracting on how to effectively do business with state and federal agencies and will offer an opportunity to interact with and to hear from different government agencies on their best practices.

The focus is to bring together the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center’s (MMAC) Program/Tenant Organizations and Small Disadvantaged Businesses and provide an opportunity to network and increase knowledge on FAA procurement opportunities within the MMAC. This event will have a focus on Small Disadvantaged Businesses, but all small businesses are welcome to attend.
