The preferred candidate will have experience or education in the fields of park and recreation, natural resource management or law enforcement. The Bureau of Natural Resources is made up of three Divisions (Fisheries, Forestry and Wildlife) and a central office.
The Seasonal Resource Assistant will also be responsible for answering the phones. This includes answering any questions about certification, hunting laws, class schedules, and also providing assistance to the public with nuisance and distressed wildlife or determining who would best assist the caller. The Seasonal Resource Assistant will also be required to issue hunting and fishing licenses. The position is forty (40) hours per week.
