To maintain security requirements set forth by GSA’s Public Building Services (PBS) Information Technology (IT), servers running these Microsoft packages must be upgraded. The Vancouver Federal Building utilizes WebCTRL Virtual Server currently running on Microsoft SQL 2012. The project will upgrade the WebCTRL Virtual Server to the an approved version as authorized by GSA PBS IT. This solicitation includes a brand name justification.

GSA Regions have servers running PME 2020 and one development server is in place as well. The metered data goes from sites to the Regional PME Server and then from the PME server into ION EEM. All regions currently have data that is collected from devices and managed with PME2020. NOTE: The PSC code would not register when creating this notice. Create alerts for servers that are running low on physical memory, disk space, or that have high CPU utilization for extended periods. Create alert policies for low, medium, high, and critical events to be used for notifying different departments of performance related issues. This will be used to develop escalation points in our notification process. We highly recommend online submission.
The focus is to select a single organization to assist in getting affordable pricing for running several servers on a VM server environment, as well as a backup solution. Special Considerations: Contractor will need to keep the existing data server equipment running during construction. Shutdowns of power will need to be highly coordinated. Required Insurance if Awarded: Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, Contractor's Pollution Liability and Builders Risk Insurance will be required.
