The Preservation Research and Testing Division (PRTD) of the Library of Congress requires a comprehensive service agreement for Bruker FTIR Alpha (Serial #104731) and Bruker FTIR Alpha (Serial #108620). Only the manufacturer of the equipment, Bruker Scientific, can provide the required services. 

GE Healthcare (the manufacturer of these units) has entered into an agreement with Alpha Source, Inc. granting them the sole service provider for their bone mineral densitometry products in the United States. They are the only vendor to service these units with OEM parts. See attached memo from GE Healthcare.

Synopsis:NASA/NSSC has a requirement for Annual Service Agreement. NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to CANON U.S.A., INC. 3300 N 1ST ST San Jose, California 95134-1900 United States under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that CANON U.S.A., INC. is the sole provider of Annual Service Agreement.NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.
