Description: SCOPE OF SERVICES The selected firm shall perform materials testing and special inspection services for various CIPs and other City projects on an as-needed basis. For each on-call service request, the consultant and the City will agree upon the specific scope of work and cost for that project. Travel time and mileage to and from the City should not be included or charged as part of the services.

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a requirement for a Regional Individual Standing Offer for the provision of Material Testing Services in various locations across Newfoundland and Labrador. The work consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and materials to carry out material testing in various locations throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

Proposer (this term used interchangeably with “Consultant”) is encouraged to demonstrate diversity of skills and abilities as they relate to geotechnical engineering.Services shall include all personnel, supervision, management, labor, tools, equipment, material, and travel necessary to perform these services with reimbursable expenses to be agreed upon prior to initiation of each project.
