This request seeks to establish services to provide durable medical equipment (DME) and supplies. This contract request is to contract with a vendor that shall serve as a reliable source for DME services for eligible American Indian/ Alaskan Native through the Purchased Referred Care (PRC) program.This requirement is for purchase and delivery of durable medical equipment to be provided to the Manlius Service Unit.
In 1934, Congress provided the specific authority to enter into medical services contracts for American Indians and Alaska Natives. These, among other authorities established the basis for IHS and the Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) Program.The PRC Program is integral to providing comprehensive health care services to eligible American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN).
Requirements Detail: The Contractor shall provide youth residential treatment services to eligible American Indian & Alaska Native (AI/AN) male and female youth from Federally recognized tribes in Oregon and other states in accordance with the attached Statement of Work.
The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Services will require professional healthcare (i.e., medically necessary outpatient/inpatient services) from local specialty health care providers & hospitals for the Purchased/Preferred Care (PRC) eligible American Indian & Alaskan Natives.
The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service (GPAIHS) Office is soliciting health/medical clinics and practitioners interested in a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). These Agreements will provide in-office services unavailable at the respective GPAIHS Service Units for eligible Native American Indian and Alaskan Native Indian beneficiaries of the GPAIHS including North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska.
