Minish Passaic RiverWaterfront Park and Historic Area Project in Newark New Jersey consisting of theconstruction of approximately 905 LF of cantilever or tie-back sheet pile wall tosheet pile deadman and reinforced concrete cap. Additional project features willinclude storm drain outlets with concrete inlets and steel railing with mesh infillpanels. Project magnitude is between $10,000,000 - $25,000,000.

The work will include, but will not be limited to: the construction of a 450-metre-long, structurally reinforced, concrete walkway and knee wall on the existing stone breakwater in Lake Ontario, supported on steel piles with rock anchors, the construction of a steel frame and timber deck on piles on the existing stone breakwater, sheet pile installation, stone handling, shore and/or barge access, installation of concrete hardscape area with stairs

The work includes 2000 feet of Open Cell Sheet Pile (OCSP) dock face, fender piles combined with floating fendering along the dock face, construction of fuel, water, sewer, electrical, and telecommunications system upgrades, and incidental related work. The contract cost magnitude for contract award is approximately $250 Million to $500 Million.

Work includes fish exclusion, dewatering, bypass pumping, in-channel sediment excavation, removal of invasive non-native vegetation, removal of large trees in two locations including Mill Creek Middle School, and along a City owned parcel north of James Street, and installation of approximately 800 LF of steel sheet pile (approximately 9,200 SF) shoring along the paved west road shoulder of Kennebeck Ave N and repaving of Kennebeck Avenue.

The new CSM wall and debris removal to facilitate the wall and ISS improvement is adjacent to a cantilever sheet pile wall that is in moderate to poor condition, the sheet pile wall is retaining contaminated soils and must remain competent with minimal movement until the CSM wall is in place.Historically Wyckoff was a wood treatment facility.
