The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has released a solicitation via full and open competition for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to design, develop, fabricate, assemble and test a DDG 51 Ship Control System (SCS) to meet the performance specifications outlined in the solicitation.
These system components are the Ship Control Console (SCC; Qty 1), Aft Steering Unit (ASU; Qty 1), On Board Trainer (OBT) Equipment Rack (Qty 1) and the Local Control Unit (LCU; Qty 4). The US Navy’s goals are to establish a standard Ship Control System design and configuration across all ship platforms.
