Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Siemens for PSS®E Standard Maintenance and Support Renewal.
This is considered a sole source to Siemens because, to the best of the NETL’s knowledge, based on market research conducted Siemens is the sole source supplier of the PSS®E software and the sole provider of the maintenance/support services and therefore, the only known source that can provide this exact maintenance and support.
